Our Statement of Faith
1. The Holy Scriptures
We believe the Holy Bible, consisting of the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired Word of God, without error in its original writings, and the final authority for faith, doctrine, and Christian living.
Scripture: 2 Timothy 3:16–17; 2 Peter 1:20–21; Psalm 19:7–11; Matthew 4:4
2. The One True God
We believe in one true and living God, eternal and sovereign, who created all things. He exists eternally in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—equal in essence, power, and glory.
Scripture: Deuteronomy 6:4; Isaiah 45:5–6; Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14
3. God the Father
We believe God the Father is the Creator of heaven and earth, perfect in holiness, wisdom, justice, mercy, and love. He reigns over all things according to His will and for His glory.
Scripture: Genesis 1:1; Psalm 103:19; Isaiah 64:8; Ephesians 1:3–6
4. Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, fully God and fully man. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, and lived a sinless life.
We believe He died on the cross as the substitutionary sacrifice for sinners, shedding His blood for our redemption. He rose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, and will return again in glory.
Scripture: John 1:1–4, 14; Luke 1:35; Colossians 2:9; Hebrews 4:15;
Isaiah 53:4–6; Romans 5:8; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4; Acts 1:9–11; Revelation 19:11–16
5. The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit is fully God, eternal and personal. He convicts the world of sin and leads people to Christ. He regenerates, indwells, seals, sanctifies, and empowers believers for holy living and ministry.
We believe the Holy Spirit gives spiritual gifts to the Church for the building up of believers and the advancement of the Gospel.
Scripture: John 16:8–13; Titus 3:5; Romans 8:9–11; Ephesians 1:13–14;
1 Corinthians 12:4–7; Galatians 5:22–23
6. Humanity and Sin
We believe mankind was created in the image of God to glorify Him and enjoy fellowship with Him. Through Adam’s sin, all humanity became sinful by nature and separated from God.
We believe all people have sinned and are under God’s righteous judgment apart from salvation in Christ.
Scripture: Genesis 1:26–27; Romans 3:23; Romans 5:12; Isaiah 59:2; Psalm 51:5
7. Salvation by Grace Through Faith
We believe salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Jesus Christ alone. Salvation is not earned by good works, religious rituals, or personal merit, but is the gift of God through the finished work of Christ.
We believe those who repent and trust in Jesus Christ are forgiven, justified, born again, and adopted into God’s family.
Scripture: Ephesians 2:8–9; Romans 10:9–13; Titus 3:5–7; John 3:3–7;
Romans 5:1; 2 Corinthians 5:17
8. The Church
We believe the Church is the Body of Christ, made up of all true believers, with Jesus Christ as its Head. The Church is called to worship God, preach the Gospel, make disciples, teach God’s Word, encourage believers, and serve the world in love.
Scripture: Matthew 16:18; Ephesians 1:22–23; Acts 2:42–47;
Matthew 28:18–20; Hebrews 10:24–25
9. Baptism and the Lord’s Supper
We believe baptism and the Lord’s Supper are ordinances commanded by Jesus Christ. Baptism is an outward testimony of inward faith and identification with Christ’s death and resurrection.
We believe the Lord’s Supper is a memorial of Christ’s sacrifice and a proclamation of His death until He returns.
Scripture: Matthew 28:19–20; Romans 6:3–4; Acts 2:38;
Luke 22:19–20; 1 Corinthians 11:23–26
10. The Christian Life
We believe every believer is called to live a holy life, separated from sin and devoted to God. Christians are to walk in love, obedience, and spiritual growth through the power of the Holy Spirit.
We believe believers are called to prayer, worship, generosity, good works, and faithful witness to the Gospel.
Scripture: Romans 12:1–2; 1 Peter 1:15–16; Galatians 2:20;
Colossians 3:16–17; Matthew 5:14–16; James 2:17
11. The Return of Christ and Final Judgment
We believe Jesus Christ will return personally, visibly, and bodily. We believe there will be a resurrection of the dead and a final judgment where all people will give an account before God.
Scripture: Acts 1:11; Matthew 24:30–31; John 5:28–29;
2 Corinthians 5:10; Revelation 20:11–15
12. The Eternal State
We believe those who are saved through Jesus Christ will enjoy eternal life with God in heaven, while those who reject Christ will experience eternal separation from God in hell.
We believe God will establish a new heaven and new earth where His people will dwell with Him forever.

Revelation 21:1–4; Revelation 22:1–5
